Parrot's AR.Drone
a mixture of military technology and remote-controlled toy. Parrot, best known for its Bluetooth accessories, has just released the AR. Drone quadricopter, a mix of stealth aircraft and mini remote-controlled helicopter through WiFi with your iPhone or iPod touch.

Visual Flight or camera (FPV)
Equipped with two cameras, one helping the unit to maintain stability in the air and the other at the front of the quadricopter, broadcasts and streams on the Iphone/Ipod Touch screen, what the drone is seeing as if the player was in the pilot's position.

High performance Lithium batteries
The AR Drone uses a 1000mAh, 11.1v Lipo batteries to fly. The current flight test show a 15 minutes battery autonomy.
A new approach to video game
Scheduled for mass market in 2010, Parrot intends to extend the possibilities of AR Drone so the project is a development platform opened to game developpers, which will probably be the first hybrid model small remote-controlled video game and military aircraft.
